Foundational Knowledge for Indigenous Education

The Aboriginal Education Research Centre (AERC), located at the University of Saskatchewan's College of Education, seeks to create, support, and share innovative Indigenous education research.

This collaboration of a Victoria, BC school district and Indigenous community provides professional support and resources to educators. ANED is committed to eliminating the learning gap for Indigenous learners and developing culturally responsive schools and learning environments.

This project seeks to infuse Indigenous peoples' histories, knowledges and pedagogies into all levels of education in Canada. The project is a part of the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, University of Toronto, which is located on the territories of Anishinaabe and Onkwehonwe peoples.

These are the Aboriginal Languages curricula of the Northwest Territories, Dene Kede and Inuuqatigit, created to respect the worldview and language of the land of the Aboriginal people.

This centre develops and delivers training programs that respond to the needs and aspirations of Nunavummiut. They work to provide students with a deeper appreciation of Inuit knowledge and a stronger sense of Inuit identity.
